How To Make Tamarind Fish Curry Recipe

Ingredients
- 500g boneless fish fillets, cut into pieces
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups water
- 3 tbsp tamarind pulp
- Handful of fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.

Add onions, green chilies, garlic, and ginger. Saute until onions are golden brown.

Add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.

Add turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

Pour water and bring to a boil.

Add tamarind pulp and mix. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add fish pieces and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes or until the fish is fully cooked.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
